Santa

Last night was the Wayment Family Chistmas Party. We celebrated Chistmas in Italy. Robbie and I were in charge. I will say that it turned out so yummy...cause it is all about the food, right. The boys had fun with their cousins, and the crowning moment was when Santa came. Santa asked Carson what he wanted for Christmas. He said, "I want a truck called Mack for my brother." Either that means that he is tired of sharing his or really thinks that Nate would like one. He has been telling me that is what he wants to get his brother for Chistmas. Santa asked him if he wanted anything else, and he said no. That was it. Nathan wasn't quite so talkative, but was nice and cozy on Santa's lap. It was so nice to be together with family and visit and catch up. That is one of the reasons that I love Christmastime.

Up all night

Remember when staying up all night was fun and full of excitement? Who knew what a night would bring...2 am, no problem. I think the motherhood has gotten the best of me. Last night we had our ward Christmas party. It was great. Carson ran about 30 laps around the gym. He went to bed no problem. Then, what should happen? 11:30 should happen. I had long been asleep when he was coughing up a storm. We gave him medicine. 2 seconds later, he informed me it was not working. Cough, cough, cough all night long. Today I am exhausted. Maybe the effects of the "up all nights" now linger because of a lack of excitement. Who knows. I just know I am not cut out for this anymore.

My calling in life...

I think that I missed my calling in life, except for the fact that I can't sing and can't dance. For my birthday, my dad and Marsha bought Robbie and I tickets to Hairspray (the musical). We met them in Pocatello for dinner. Some good friends kept our kids. We had such a good time. Every time I see a show like that, I dream about the big stage...maybe in my next life. Like I said, if only I could sing OR dance. I can't do either. I love to watch talented people do their thing. It is amazing to me. I dreamt about it all night, only to wake up to a little boy with Mater underware on backwards telling Robbie that our friend did not brush his teeth so he has a cavity...OOPS! I forgot to pack his toothbrush. I guess for now, little buns hanging out backwards underware will have to do...at least he put them on himself...maybe Broadway will need me someday!
