Losing my mind...
This week has been monumentous for the stupidest thing that I have ever done. I have a friend who does interior design and she is helping us with our house. We need to get some mirrors for our bathrooms ordered. She had some catalogs for me to look at. I met her at her church (she is over achievement days) at about 4 o' clock on Wednesday. She was already parked in a space by the sidewalk. I parked perpendicular to her. I pulled up and jumped out to grab the catalogs. We were just chatting away when she said, "Your car is driving away!" What! Sure enough, my car was driving away. SO, in a not so glamorous, 9 mo pregnant wearing slippers way, I went chasing after my car. I was thinking the whole time how Carson was going to be in big trouble for getting out of his booster and puting the car in gear. Well, when I finally caught my car, Carson was fastened in his seat. I had not put the car in park! I am such an idiot. My kids were both bawling. Mom, the car was driving all by itself! Good thing my wheel was strait because I passed 2 other parked cars and missed them by about 3 feet! Robbie thinks maybe he should take away the car keys until this baby comes, BUT, having this baby will not bring my brains back...maybe it will make it worse!

Here we are!
Why is it that when you go to grocery store, children inately know to ask for something. It is like they set up the store for you to fail as a mother...donuts by the deli, toys by the produce, fruit snacks by the cereal, pink and red balloons flashing "candy here"! Today I got suckered by the deli. I just needed some cheese and ended up with 2 chocolate frosted donuts with pink and red sprinkles! I take one look at those cute little faces and end up Jello. I must say that at times I can be a pretty good toughy, but if those 2 only knew that I really wanted to say yes to their cute little faces every time they asked for anything, it would be all over.
Here are some pictures of the last little while...I am not so good at posting them!
Wayment Christmas Party
This one is of Carson telling Santa that Nate wants his own "truck called Mack" for Christmas.
Discovery Center at Gateway Mall
Nathan moves to a BIG BOY BED!
The transition really was easy with this one. He just wants to be like Carson. Carson wanted to sleep with Nate...not such a good idea. I told them both to pretend to sleep. Nate knew I had the camera so he was saying "cheese" while sleeping.
Daddy Horsey
One last little thing. I am a big internet shopper. I have to be living here. I ordered the boys some clothes and they came the other day. One shirt was for Carson with a guitar on it and the caption"my mom Rocks". He loves it. He had to wear it right away. My visiting teachers came that day. One commented on how cute his shirt was. He said thanks and that the delievery man gave it to him. No credit for mom! Wouldn't it be nice if that were really the case? In that instance, he just gave Nate a new pair of shoes. Thanks delievery man!

Saturday Night Sitter
Robbie and I decided to go out on Saturday night. We have not had a sitter in months, so we were very excited! We got this cute little 12 year old in our ward. Carson has totally loved her in the past, so we figured it would not be a big deal. We did the old dinner and a movie combo. Saw Australia. We really liked it. Best of all, both kids were in bed asleep when we got home. Yesterday, when Carson woke up, I asked him if he had fun with his sitter. "No" he said. Why? "She just sat on the couch and did not play with me." Well, did she at least feed you dinner? "No mom. I am not a baby" Ok, let me rephrase that. Did she make you dinner? "Ya, but she's not a very good cook." Why? "Cause I wanted macaroni and cheese, and she turned it into macaroni and soup." OK...so she can't make macaroni. To have your cooking skills criticized by a 3 year old. Robbie and I were totally cracking up. If that is the sacrifice he has to make so that he can have happy parents, I think we are going to be ok.
