Here we are!

Why is it that when you go to grocery store, children inately know to ask for something. It is like they set up the store for you to fail as a mother...donuts by the deli, toys by the produce, fruit snacks by the cereal, pink and red balloons flashing "candy here"! Today I got suckered by the deli. I just needed some cheese and ended up with 2 chocolate frosted donuts with pink and red sprinkles! I take one look at those cute little faces and end up Jello. I must say that at times I can be a pretty good toughy, but if those 2 only knew that I really wanted to say yes to their cute little faces every time they asked for anything, it would be all over.

Here are some pictures of the last little while...I am not so good at posting them!

Wayment Christmas Party

This one is of Carson telling Santa that Nate wants his own "truck called Mack" for Christmas.

Discovery Center at Gateway Mall
Yes, our son it trying to drink the gross yucky water coming from the pump. It was his favorite part. So much for the hand sanitizer that Natalie gave me before we went...but look at this face...pure happiness. Robbie and I would have been a little bored for the 5 hours we spent there, but we were able to meet some friends from dental school there with three boys. It was time well spent!
Apparently Carson is going to grow up to be a farmer. His favorite part was the farm...picking the food and then taking it to the grocery store in the tractor. Both kids bawled when we left. Robbie and I weren't feeling too bad about it though.

Nathan moves to a BIG BOY BED!

The transition really was easy with this one. He just wants to be like Carson. Carson wanted to sleep with Nate...not such a good idea. I told them both to pretend to sleep. Nate knew I had the camera so he was saying "cheese" while sleeping.

Daddy Horsey

Everyone can remember this favorite pasttime of their childhood. Our daddy is the best horsey, except for when he falls asleep and the kids fall off! They love it. Notice: The sweet flower chair, golden carpet, and golden glow of the lights. Only a few more weeks til we kiss this 70's trend filled house goodbye! Thank heavens!

One last little thing. I am a big internet shopper. I have to be living here. I ordered the boys some clothes and they came the other day. One shirt was for Carson with a guitar on it and the caption"my mom Rocks". He loves it. He had to wear it right away. My visiting teachers came that day. One commented on how cute his shirt was. He said thanks and that the delievery man gave it to him. No credit for mom! Wouldn't it be nice if that were really the case? In that instance, he just gave Nate a new pair of shoes. Thanks delievery man!
