The highly anticipated Grandpa Bob's Easter Egg Hunt

When my mom was alive, she always had a fun Easter egg hunt for all the grand kids. There were only 4 at the time, so it was small and very fun. Now it is years later...a lot has changed...more kids...more eggs...more fun...different Grandma...and more family. It is really a lot of fun. Marsha has been such a good sport to continue on our family tradition. SO, each year we head to Grandpa Bob's house for the highly anticipated Easter egg hunt. I like to call it an Easter egg gather up because there are so many eggs that the kids don't really have to hunt. Each kid gets to fill their bucket up with eggs. Once the bucket is filled, the child is done. It is fun because the babies and little ones are not in a hurry to get eggs before the big kids take them.Carson and Grandpa Bob... two little best friends.
The face of a VERY happy boy!
Logan gathering eggs. He was way more interested in the candy inside. He also liked to throw them...a true boy. Everyone emptying out their eggs. Marsha was visiting her son in Texas on Easter, so we had the hunt 2 weeks later. It was perfect timing...my kids had just eaten all of the candy from the Easter Bunny and then we got new from Grandma and Grandpa.
We are still eating on our candy. There was soooo much. It is always so much fun. We weren't sure if we were going to make it. Nathan had just had his tonsils out 4 days before. He was not about to miss this. We all know why!
