The Golden Egg

The Friday before Easter, Heather called and invited us over for an Easter egg hunt. We celebrated Easter like any Christian would...went out for Mexican food! Yum! Jodi and Eric met us at our favorite restaurant in Twin. They headed home after dinner and Heather and Scott's family and us headed to their house.

Heather might be the most fun creative person I know. We made the kids baskets out of brown lunch sacks, filled cellophane cones with cheese balls and tied with green ribbon, and filled eggs with $40 she got from the bank (she actually got 60 but I wouldn't let her use it all!). We brought oodles of candy and had the best time! There were eggs everywhere! There was one special egg that was hidden especially hard. It had $5 in it! Heather is so fun!

The Golden Egg! Great job, Hadley!
 Counting candy and money!
 Thanks Aunt Heather!
No matter how much money or candy these kids got, being together was like getting the golden egg! They had so much fun! They just love each other.
